The lawsuit was based on allegations that, during his tenure with the company, the CEO emb ... ezzled millions of dollars through shell companies, and then used the funds to purchase high-end real estate in California. After the firm attacked the allegations at the pleading stage and through aggressive discovery, we secured a highly-favorable settlement with no impact on the client’s real estate portfolio.
