Gabor Szabo

I hired this attorney after being tragically hit on the freeway by an uninsured motorists. Gabor requested a high retainer fee but shortly after I hired him, he stopped returning my calls or communicating. Months after that, he claimed I had no chances of winning because the guy who hit me had no ins...urance or assets but he would still keep 100% of my retainer. I insisted on pursuing my case against that individual and Gabor told me it was too late and it was not worth it. I suffered severe back pain for many years and spent thousands on multiple chiropractors who only alleviated my pain for short periods of time. Years after the accident, I decided I did not want the guy who hit me to continue to live Scott free and researched my old case in San Bernardino case library to see if there was any way to reopen an opportunity to obtain some justice; To my surprise, the old case had notes about Gabor's assistant pursuing the case (without informing me about it) and the driver never showing up to the courthouse. The file indicates the courthouse ruled in my favor, granting me a Judgement against the driver. While Gabor claimed the case was over, the Courthouse ruled I won my Judgement. Now the case has expired and the judgement was never renewed or pursued. The driver and Gabor ruined my life for 20+ years as they are both irresponsible and careless.

I hired this Lawyer a few years back and he never did anything for me regarding my family law case. I was in a vulnerable position then, and I walked into the nice fancy office in Beverly Hills thinking I was hiring a top notch attorney. When he first interviewed me he seemed very charismatic and co...nfident about solving my custody issue. I was also impressed that he seemed down to earth being an attorney that immediately understood me and cursed my ex for her actions. When I gave him 2,500 to retain him and I left his office I was under the impression that he would handle my case personally, but within a few day I got a call from a woman who said she would be representing me and would like to set up a meeting with me to gather all my case info and discuss a possible solution. At first I thought I was baffled that Gabor had assigned her to my case , but I met her anyways out of trust thst they knew best. I met her at a restaurant for an hour and I brought all my documents, and she took notes and heard me out. A few days later I called Gabor and asked him if I can see him because I had some concerns about my case. When he agreed to meet me in his office a second time I expressed that I wanted him to be the one handling my case directly as I thought he would but instead he explained that he was too busy and that she was under him and training her and he would over see her work. When I told him I strictly wanted him to represent me in court he proceeded to use the excuse that the woman he had assigned to help me without my consent had already been charging him for the time she spent with me at the restaurant plus she had already gotten some paperwork started. When we disagreed that I was not ok with that I asked for my retainer fee back, but he said he could not do that because he had to pay the lady attorney for her time. At that point I walked out of his office upset not wanting to accept this great dissapointment.
