Cyrus John Nownejad

Mr. Nownejad worked on a personal injury case for me several years ago that I knew would have a successful outcome. His unprofessional conduct, his failure to meet deadlines, and his laissez-faire attitude I believe hindered my case and judgement was not favorable. When I sought information about my... case, Mr. Nownejad did not return my calls nor make time to meet with me. Upon questioning his work, I felt bullied and belittled as he listed all the cases that he had successfully won... Please do not hire this attorney!

This attorney should never have been granted a license to practice law. He makes statements geared to encourage you to sign with him. Promises that he later swears he never made. He never returns calls and has an office that is run quite inefficiently. He is unethical and downright unprofessional. He... collected a large retainer from me and when I asked for documentation of work he completed or to return my retainer, he filed for bankruptcy. He destroyed an win-able case for me and I will forever suffer this loss. If you or anyone you know are contemplating using this man, please don't. You'll be happier with a first year law student.

This lawyer never returns phone calls or messages...you are completely out of the lopp in the process of your case. You never know what the process is and he will not call you back unless you call his cell phone over and over again. He does as little work as possible for you and will threaten to rais...e your fee exponentially if you want to fight your case rather than settle it. (Mine went from $3500 to a possible $15,000!) I wonder if he even knows how to fight an actual case. Once you start to ask too many questions, he becomes very clip and almost combative. He basically wants you to sit back and "trust" him and let him do everything without any input or questions. Very unprofessional and difficult to work with.
