Biography
Mr. Cohen earned a J.D. from Loyola Law School, where he was on the national moot court team. He attended UCLA and graduated Cum Laude with a B.A. in Communication Studies.
Originally a partner at Hillman, Friedman & Cohen in Beverly Hills, he then founded Cohen, Stimpert & Ford, LLP. Mr. Cohen is a Board Member of the Beverly Hills Bar Foundation, has acted as a Judge Pro Tem for the Beverly Hills Superior Court, has served as President and Board Member of a Westwood HOA, and presently offices and resides in West L. A. He has mediated litigated cases since the late 90's, has extensive training in mediation, and writes articles and lectures on best practices in mediation.
Mr. Cohen joined Alternative Resolution Centers (ARC) in 2020, expanding his mediation footprint in Southern California.
Robert Cohen believes that mediation, at its best, is a magical process.
