I spoke with Mathew May a few times concerning the rights I have as a real estate agent. He was very patient, understanding, intelligent and helpful. He listened to my questions without interruption or judgement and responded with clarity. He was detailed in explaining the laws, codes and my position... as a real estate agent. I am incredibly grateful for his knowledge and guidance and will definitely speak to him again in the future for any of questions regarding real estate law.

It's deeply concerning how attorneys like Matthew can remain active for over two decades while having no understanding of the laws. Matthew is the sort of attorney who, most likely, has made his living being arrogant and obsessively stubborn, simply because he at some point, passed the bar. Ther...e is a saying amongst attorneys that 'it's all how you word it'. If you word anything a certain way you will win. So the laws and codes to this sort of attorney do not really matter. An attorney can spend his career with this sort of zealous style and win enough times to make a living. The letter Matthew wrote was contradictory, did not take law into consideration, and was purely meant to be used as a bullying tactic rather than pointing out actual law violations or concerns. It was as if the letter was written by someone other than an actual attorney. Sentences were cut off, etc. It was quickly written without any care or regard to his client, seemingly, so he can make a quick buck.

I had the pleasure of speaking with Matthew today at some length. I had a real estate dilemma. He took time to listen and then explain every concern and question I had so I could easily understand and benefitted greatly from his knowledge expertise and help. I recommend Matthew to anyone who needs a ...qualified outstanding attorney that takes time and has a gift of giving you a sense of peace and confidence. He is more than competent, He has a special way of helping you understand what options one has and explains everything in such a way, you feel like you will be successful in whatever you are pursuing. Mr May and I have had more than a couple of detailed consults over a period of a few months (same case matter) and his knowledge of my case subject was far reaching, knowledgeable and his call backs respected my need for more helpful info and my need for promptness ! UTTERLY DISAPPOINTED AND PROVIDED ABSOLUTELY POOR SERVICES: I've been a member of the association with which Mathew L. May is employed for over 14 years. This is the FIRST time I've ever felt SADLY disappointed, even insulted, by an attorney's lack of communication and customer service abilities f...or a customer. My benefits package provides me with legal letters when requested and he actually stated, quote: "I need to tell you now that you're going to be disappointed by the letter I'm going to write for you..." He wasn't even aware of the important dates in which my case involved (ie, he didn't really read the many documents I'd provided him). This was after I'd WAITED FOR 2 MONTHS for this letter..." He almost always interrupted me with short comments revealed by his short and rude mannerisms. What a major disappointment...
