Gilbert Perez, III, serves as a Senior Associate and Team Leader at Layfield & Barrett. He has accumulated more than a decade of experience dealing with insurance companies, defendant corporations, complex catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases. Mr. Perez has tried cases to verdict with some of the top trial attorneys in California.
As a trial attorney, Mr. Perez has successfully litigated cases against all major insurance companies. He has extensive experience in handling personal injury cases involving a variety of injuries and damage profiles.
Prior to joining Layfield & Barrett, Mr. Perez’s representation helped clients obtain verdicts and settlements adding up to tens of millions of dollars. Currently, he and his team are involved in various large cases set to be strongly litigated. He recently completed the CAALA Plaintiff Trial Academy, a comprehensive training workshop, by and for, trial lawyers. He continues to work his cases from inception through trial.
