I hired Attorney Eric Renslo due to domestic violence and potential credit card fraud with an ex partner. The situation was very, very messy, and it wasn’t as black-and-white as things seemed. I was potentially facing jail time and have been convicted of this alleged crime, I can’t tell you how SCARE...D I was. However, I hired Attorney , Renslo and he eased some of my fear. Seeking a reliable and efficient attorney? So was I until I found Mr. Renslo! When it comes to the legal system, I’m getting in trouble with the law, it’s never a good feeling being in the unknown. Prior to me finding Eric Renslo, that’s exactly where I was, out of the loop with no idea o...f what was to happen next. It only took a simple phone call to know this was who I wanted to retain. His communication is on point, he knows what he’s doing in the criminal defense world, he is literally the most reliable and friendly Attorney I know to exist. I’ve never spoken highly of anyone the way I do have Eric Renslow. I even referred him to a friend who is now his client on a huge case and my friend is also just as satisfied if not more If I could give Eric 25 Stars he would have the rating in a heartbeat. I would like to end my review by saying, as long as I’m in California, and in need of a criminal defense lawyer, I will never seek anyone else. If he cannot handle your case, he sure to help point you in the right direction to someone that could but fortunately for me that was never the case. I love and appreciate Eric as if he were family. To start, if you’re reading this review you most likely are in some sort of legal trouble. I strongly urge you to get a lawyer as soon as possible. The criminal legal system is not designed to be easily navigated. There are so many levels and rules that a normal person just has no shot of navigating ...alone. I graduated from USC and can usually pick up on things relatively quickly, but it would have been close to impossible to fight my charges on my own. To put it in perspective, my case took two and a half years and consisted of 11 appearances that all had different arguments and strategies associated with them. There is a ton of opportunity to make mistakes so I strongly recommend you lawyer up because I promise, innocent or not, the system is not as fair as we would hope. For me, when selecting attorneys, I skimmed through about 40-50 and ranked them based on experience and what law schools they went to. Eric went to UCLA Law which is a top 5 law school in criminal defense. Insanely hard to get into, and it produces some of the best lawyers in the country. Some of the other lawyers I called went to Harvard, USC, and Yale but I ultimately decided to go with Eric because I could tell how invested in helping me he was out of the gate, by the questions he was asking, the suggestions he was making, and the overall meticulousness of the conversation. I was facing 7 years in state prison. It didn’t feel right or fair or even real, to be frank. But it is the reality of the current system and it was very real. Eric couldn’t have been a better guide through it all. I almost want to look up how many hours we talked on the phone over the 2.5 years of the case because we had constant phone calls that lasted for sometimes 2-3 hours. He put his all into ensuring I knew what was happening, and I understood how and why we were approaching the case. Since the deals we were offered we not great we decided moving to trial was the best move. I could write an essay about the trial experience but to keep it short, 4 witnesses showed up to testify against me, and the DA was extremely impressive in his own right. But Eric maintained control of the room and the narrative for the duration of the trial. Regardless of how well he did, it didn’t take the edge off when the decision was eventually submitted by the jury. All two and a half years, two felony charges, and a seven-year prison sentence all culminated to a single moment and I personally don’t have the vocabulary to truly describe the sense of monumental relief that was felt when the non-guilty verdict was announced for both felony charges. Genuinely a euphoric moment and I couldn’t have chosen a better lawyer to share it with. I couldn’t recommend anyone more than I recommend Eric if you are facing any serious criminal charges.

Eric saved my life and my future. I knew from the moment we spoke on the phone that he knew what he was doing and he would fight for me. Unlike many other lawyers I came across, Eric shows that he truly cares. I got into a horrible accident and it was a felony case and I was facing jail time. We st...arted off at one court but then he thought of requesting to transfer my case to a different court, for veterans. We weren’t 100% sure if it would get accepted but it did! However, even there they wanted to give me jail time. Somehow, someway Eric was able to convince the DA and judge to give me community service and my case will be dismissed in one year!! I almost couldn’t believe it. It honestly felt like I needed a miracle each for each step in the process to get approved for this, but my lawyer made it happen and I am so thankful for him. I honestly feel very lucky and blessed to have come across him. He also always kept me informed of everything and I always felt I was in great hands. If your life got just a little bit too real for you like it did for me, then you’re in need of a good lawyer and Eric Renslo is the one.
