Travis Jeffries

Travis Jeffries advises both individual investors and real estate businesses on a wide variety of commercial real estate matters including the purchase, sale and financing of all types of commercial real estate. Travis also specializes in negotiating and drafting leases for office, retail and restaurant space on behalf of both landlords and tenants.

Travis understands that legal issues are not one-dimensional and that, in order to provide high quality legal representation, it is often necessary to look at issues holistically and provide counsel that draws on several disciplines. Travis uses his diverse experience and legal knowledge to do just that and to provide clients with customized, comprehensive and practical legal advice.

Travis is fluent in Spanish and has worked and lived in Spain, Cuba, Mexico, and Ecuador. While working as a Journalist in Quito, Ecuador, several of his articles were published in El Dario Hoy, Ecuador's third largest newspaper. Travis also worked in international sales for Confiteca Confectionaries, the largest confectionary in the Andes region of South America.

Travis earned his B.A. in Hispanic Literature and Latin American History from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon, where he was captain of the men's soccer team. He received his J.D. from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois where he received two CALI Awards in Real Estate Transactions and Constitutional Law for earning the highest grade in each course. While in law school, he held various leadership positions within John Marshall's Latino Law Student Association, including president and treasurer.
