Sridavi Ganesan

Sridavi Ganesan is Of Counsel with Rome & Associates and has more than a decade of commercial litigation experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal courts. Her practice includes representing clients in general commercial real estate, intellectual property and Internet-related litigation matters.

Ms. Ganesan’s intellectual property experience includes handling trademark, trade dress, copyright and patent infringement issues; as well as trade secrets and Lanham Act violations. She has successfully defended a highly trafficked, user-generated content site against an enforcement of a judgment involving the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.  She successfully obtained a preliminary injunction against a celebrity artist popular in the U.K., and in favor of the artist’s management company, to prevent the sale of artwork in violation of the company’s copyrights.  

She also represents executives and high-net-worth individuals in Internet-related litigation matters, such as developing litigation strategies in defamation cases to unmask online sources and remove false information.

In addition, Ms. Ganesan has worked with companies in the lending and finance industries in a variety of litigation matters, including disputes under state and federal laws and a variety of common law claims. This includes claims involving TILA, RESPA, FCRA, FDCPA and the California Homeowner Bill of Rights.

Ms. Ganesan is admitted to practice in the State Courts in California; the Central, Eastern, Southern and Northern Districts of the United States District Court in California; and in the Bankruptcy Court of the United States District Court, Northern District of California.
