Robert Friedl is a senior counsel at Capstone Law, where he devotes most of his time to the briefing and litigation strategy for the firm’s major motions, appeals and writs. With over 20 years of experience representing plaintiffs and defendants in cases spanning a variety of industries, Robert now applies his extensive drafting and analytical skills to many of the firm’s most important appellate matters. His lengthy service as an appellate attorney has yielded several published cases, including successful outcomes in Goldstein v. Ralphs, 122 Cal. App. 4th 229 (2004), Morgan v. AT&T, 177 Cal. App. 4th 1235 (2009), and Hecimovich v. Encinal School Parent Teacher Organization, 203 Cal. App. 4th 450 (2012).
Prior to joining Capstone, Robert was a partner at civil litigation boutique, where he focused on appellate matters in consumer class actions, insurance coverage and defense, employment law and personal injury. Robert is a graduate of the University of Connecticut, and received his law degree from Southwestern School of Law, where he earned an American Jurisprudence Book Award.
Robert is admitted to practice law in California and before the United States District Court for the Northern, Eastern, Central, and Southern Districts of California and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
