Robert Helfend Is by far the best attorney I have ever hired. I had an unfortunate encounter in a solicitation case and Robert did a truly masterful job of getting the case dismissed before it was even filed with the judge and then subsequently was successful at getting my record sealed which is pretty challenging to do given my court case wasn’t even taken bef...ore a judge but he was able to pull it off and I am eternally grateful for all of his help. As I’m sure you know these situations are tremendously stressful and I had a lot of questions given I had never previously been in trouble with the law and Robert did a wonderful job of holding my hand through this process and walking me through all the steps and giving me confidence that this matter would go away. I had called around to a number of places initially and a lot of these intake centers like to use scare tactics to get you to sign up with them but Robert was calm, straight forward and transparent and that honesty and “bed-side manner” carried through after hiring him as well. Robert Helfend represented my case from start to end. He literally drove out to meet with me in person several times and handled my case in a very professional manner in which he always told me the truth and what to expect. Several years ago, I made a mistake and was willing to face my penalties but ...not without professional help. Since I have never broken any laws, this was my first time offence. Robert Helfend was able to keep me out of prison, and pro-long the case enough for me to make proper arrangements. At the end I pleaded guilty and instead of serving years of prison time, I was given the following: 1. One year of "in-house" jail which is a local community near my home where I was able to continue to go to work but live at this apartment looking complex 2. make restitution payments back to company I took from 3. of course 3 years probation 4. eligible for felony to be reduce to misdemeanor upon all conditions met especially paying back all restitution. I followed all the court obligations and after three years Robert Helfend represented me again for my pen code 1203.4 and got my sentence reduce from felony to misdemeanor. I was charged with assault with a deadly weapon on cop.He not only took my money but,didn't inform me that my case had the terms of 3 to 5 years imprisonment,the low 3 years the mid with 4 years and the high 5 years .Not only did he not tell me of this but lied about getting me off on a program,he ju...st took my money's wouldn't recommend this guy to any one .Do you research on attorneys for your benefit.
