I WOULD RECOMMEND TAL FOR ANY CRIMINAL CASE

i knew Tal before my felony DUI arrest came up (college), and was glad to learn that he practiced criminal defense when the cops charged me (totally unfairly). I had an accident, and it was assumed I was drunk just because I was heading home from a local bar. I figured better to put the case in the... hands of someone I at least knew. It turns out these DUI cases can be really complex, there's scientific issues, cop observations, field sobriety tests, lab and breath-test issues, and I think Tal had a checklist of about 850 questions and challenges (I'm not kidding -- he showed me) that he had come up with over the years in order to fight these types of charges. Well, it too awhile and we almost had to go to trial, but Tal did not let up, he kept me fully informed about my options, and he had some really productive discussions with the prosecutor because eventually they dropped all charges for some kind of civil compromise (I had to pay for the damage from the accident, which I was going to have to do anyways). I would rate working with Tal as a really good experience under some really bad circumstances.

My Case Is Still Ongoing and I Don't Know How I Would've Survived This Long Without Atty Wolf

I've been working with Wolf (that's what everyone calls him) for over a year now trying to grind out some kind of peace and resolve from this multi-count financial fraud case i've been dealing with. The evidence LOOKED horrible at the outset (I'm in the escrow field and made some investments with ce...rtain funds that went south), but I am innocent of any crime,, and there was a misunderstanding from the beginning that led up to this whole mess. Wolf admitted to me before I hired him that he was not an expert in the inner workings of the escrow business, and that he would need to take the time to learn all the ins and outs -- knowledge that would allow him to ask the right questions, subpoena the right evidence from the various banks and accounts involved, and build up the right challenges for my defense. Well, we have made quite a team and I am finally feeling extremely confident about beating (or at least really reducing) these charges. Wolf has become like a second best friend to me, in the way that he cares about my cause, in the way that he has dedicated himself to figuring out all the possible angles in my case, and in the way i can reach him practically anytime of the week by phone without a second thought. He usually responds to my texts immediately or within an hour. "Lifesaver" -- that's the best word I can use. if everyone's lawyer was like Wolf there would be a lot less stress in the world. I've already recommended him to one friend of mine, and a family member on their own legal problems, and he has treated them no differently. Great guy.

Great attorney

I was very impressed with the services provided by Mr. Wolf in my personal injury case. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and always willing to answer the many questions I had. Very highly recommended.

Above and Beyond All Expectations

With much trepidation (about lawyers in general), I retained Mr. Wolf to handle my felony drug sales case in Orange County. I had never been arrested before, I am a graduate student working on my JD/MBA at a major university, I have several professional licensures (real estate, SEC), all of which wo...uld have been devastated by having a felony conviction. My biggest concern going into the case was having the sales charge reduced to a straight felony possession charge (which I could then work on keeping off of my record by completing a 1-2 year Prop 36 or a DEJ drug program). And my "Christmas List" for the case (i.e. my long-shot best possible hope) was for my lawyer to get the charge itself reduced to a misdemeanor, so that I would not even have to face the prospect of a felony conviction. Regardless, I knew that all of the above was going to require several weeks/months of annoying (not to mention time-consuming) court appearances, and having (ultimately) to put my future in the hands of the DA or the judge -- which have very tough reputations here in Fullerton. Well, to my most pleasant shock and surprise, without charging me any additional fee for doing so Mr. Wolf used all of the weeks we had available BEFORE my first court date to go down to the arresting agency, to identify the investigating narco detective assigned to my case, and to make a strong and persistent pitch to the detective showing that the circumstances surrounding both me and my arrest merited a total rejection (non-file) of criminal charges altogether. The detective apparently was very impressed with Mr. Wolf's presentation, and agreed to send the matter over to the traffic court for a straight MJ infraction (basically a non-crime $100 ticket), like jay-walking. In addition, I want to mention that Mr. Wolf kept me updated on a regular basis, as he had promised on day 1, and the knowledge that he was out there actively working on and caring for my matter gave me a lot of peace of mind. I will be forever grateful to Mr. Wolf for effectively saving my career, and if more lawyers were like him then the profession wouldn't have the bad rap that it seems to have. I highly highly recommend this attorney, and would use him again without hesitation.

Relationship: Worked together on matter

"I had the privilege of working with Tal Wolf on a complex case a few years ago. The facts were very complicated, the case was hotly contested, and our joint client was being sued by a wealthy individual with unlimited resources. This individual had the means and funds to hire one of the largest law firms in town. They tried to intimidate our client and force him into a settlement. They failed, not one penny switched hands, and the individual dropped the lawsuit entirely. How did this successful result come about? When the client hired me, I knew I needed extra firepower on my side, so I turned to Tal. We worked closely together for the many months the case was active. I realized early on that Tal was not easily intimidated, focused, passionate, and had the ability to quickly zero in on the most important facts and aspects of a given case. He has the ability to rapidly distill a complex set of facts, and strip it to its core. His logical and reasoning abilities are unparalle"
