Hire Trish
I hired Trish on a case involving a real estate dispute and she did an excellent job for me. Thoughtful, considered legal advice combined with responsive and helpful attitude. Her service is far superior to that I received from a larger law firm. The next time I need legal services I will hire her...

She Gives Lawyers a GREAT name!
We've used Patricia twice in two different cases. The first case was the big one and we had to file suit against the people who sold us our home four years ago and didn't disclose a nuisance property next door. Patricia did an excellent job advising us, even came by our home to actually look at the h...

slow, unprofessional, incompetent, old-school
Trish Bakst’s firm of 1 doesn’t have assistant but definitely needs one - many times she showed technical incompetence and couldn’t even scroll down and check a simple email... Due to her doubtful competence, she kept neglecting a litigation opportunity and wasted tons of time and money on unproducti...
These comments are disappointing and untrue. I spent time negotiating a very difficult settlement for this client, whose problems were the result of his not listening to or cooperating with his partners. But this client refused to follow my advice and then did not want to pay me for the time I spent trying to help him. You can lead the horse to water, but you can't make it drink.
"I served as mediator in 2 cases in which Trish Bakst represented an individual, and in both instances, it was clear to me that her goal was to fight for what her client wanted, even if that made her unpopular with the other side. She used all her skills--both legal and interpersonal--to get what her client wanted, and she was successful."
