Max Gorby was my worldly “Guardian Angel”! February 2022, I was arrested and jailed. After release, I felt helpless, hopeless and uncertain. Max can definitely be trusted with your time and money, and he actually cares about his clients outside of the case. Long Story: I was in an abusive relationship with my ex-boyfriend. He beat me, I defended myself, and then he lied to the cops and got me arrested for a felony (domestic violence) and a misdemeanor (he lied to the cops and said I was preventing him from calling 911). I had previously recorded our fights, and had evidence that my ex-boyfriend was the abuser. I spent 24 hours in jail, and bailed myself out. My bail bonds man recommended Max. That day, I called him and he immediately listened to my side of the story and scheduled to meet me the next day. His office was nice and cozy; very clean. We sat in the conference room and he gathered all the information from me. He listened patiently to my recordings of my fights with my ex-boyfriend, and truly showed sympathy for the situation I was in. He genuinely cared about the trauma I’d been through and even recommended I seek counseling. The total price for him handled the misdemeanor and the felony was $5000 ($2500 for each). I paid upfront even though he told me there was no guarantee; I decided to pick Max because he was very honest. He wasn’t an ad trying to sell me lies. He informed me that we had a criminal case and we should pursue it. He said he would work through the weekend and even the holiday to get the case dismissed as quickly as possible. I think the most shocking part about Max as a lawyer is he asked me how I was doing; I was more than just a client, he truly cared about my case. I would recommend him to anyone. Eventually Max got my arrest turned into a detention. There are brighter days ahead because of Max. He saved my career and worked hard throughout my case from day 1. My husband and I were in Cal on vacation. We ended up drinking a little too much and got into a fight and I called the police. He went to jail on a domestic violence charge.
