Halie Lucille Leonard

Halie Leonard earned her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2009. During her time at Santa Clara University, Ms. Leonard repeatedly volunteered her time at the Alexander Community Law Center, a pro-bono legal clinic, received a Certificate in Public Interest and Social Justice Law for her academic and professional commitment to public interest law, and was the recipient of the 2009 Pro Bono award. Additionally, Ms. Leonard was a research editor for the Santa Clara UniversityLaw Review.

Prior to attending Santa Clara University, Ms. Leonard received her Bachelor's Degree at the University of Southern California, majoring in both Environmental Studies - Public Policy and Management and Political Science.

Since her return toSouthern California, Ms. Leonard has worked tirelessly to help clients become debt free through both Chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcies. After working with well over one hundred clients, and at one of the nation's largest bankruptcy firms, Ms. Leonard decided to found Leonard Law Office.

In starting her own practice, Ms. Leonard is able to return to her public interest roots and more effectively help her clients through the bankruptcy process. It is important to Ms. Leonard to personally be there to see their cases through to completion.
