I recently worked with Steve and his team. Amanda was the Partner who reviewed all of the documents with me, and helped explain and address any questions. I worked with Steven Lazarus' law firm & hired Amanda Troxler to represent me for a surrogacy contract & journey. Amanda's ability to communicate contracts to someone who was very unfamiliar was incredibly helpful. She was patient and thorough. She took time to explain stipulations and I never felt r...ushed or unimportant. Sadly, the end of my journey came with complications from the parents I carried the child for. Less than 48 hours after delivering the baby, I was in emotional distress late at night. I called Steven Lazarus' line and took down the emergency number he had listed. I didn't expect a person to answer, but he did. He was incredibly kind, listened to me and promised to send a note to Amanda and ask for her to reach me. At 8pm that night (only an hour later) I received a text from Amanda informing me she would call that evening - INCREDIBLE! She did call and listened and guided me through what I needed to do. She easily could have called me the next morning, but she showed that she is compassionate, empathetic and incredibly kind. When you're being represented for an adoption, surrogacy or family matter, these are characteristics that are important. It reminds us of our humanity and why we enter the line of work that we do.
