Jonathan Tobin has advised me on a variety of legal matters related to my photography for years. It's always refreshing to hear his sound, well-researched legal advice on what I should do when people use my photographs without permission or licensing online. What's great about Jonathan is that he ...is deeply in touch with all the very current digital trends happening RIGHT NOW. Judging from the advice he gives me and the conversations I have had with him, other artists and small business owners are constantly presenting him with very current legal issues. I mention this because I believe that if you present him with a legal matter relating to copyright, IP, etc., it is likely that he has dealt with a very similar matter very recently, not something he has to read up on. I feel that with Mr. Tobin, I'm not presenting my arcane IP-related matters to some guy that is more comfortable dealing with medical malpractice or something. Jonathan has his fingers on the pulse of what's happening right now with IP on the internet. Plus he's a skilled graphic designer and multimedia artist that can write code. What a find.
