Carl McCoy was highly recommended to me by a family member whom I adore and consider a father figure when my own father abandoned my mother and myself when I was a child. This review is not about Carl’s ability to litigate as I have not experienced his talents in the court room. This review is based ...on communication, character and ethics as it pertains to a potential client in dire straits, hopeful that finally I may have found someone to consult and possibly fight for me. That wasn’t the case. I was able to speak with him once and was given two call back options. I have since called and left messages 4 times and left a text message in a weeks span. All I wanted to know was simple; are you available for hire? Crickets. Can you help me? Silence of the lambs. Is this thing on? Mic feedback. My parents are Central American and I am the first 2X Emmy Award winner to represent my country and at no time in my profession have I ever failed to deliver when it comes to respect for others, communication whether Incouldnfollow through or not. Busy is not an excuse. Pound for pound I work harder or as hard as anyone. I am up now writing notes for my Public Defender to litigate in court for me, since I cannot find anyone willing to help someone falsely accused, with no criminal record, a PD who also fails to communicate for a man who works tirelessly in the homeless community, has made careers for countless people and never says no to someone in need. But you wouldn’t know that if you never took the time to return a phone call. Maybe you will have better luck. Anyway, better get back to filing my own motions and continuances by myself.
