Sarah Olney is a great attorney. She is very smart and ethical. I am an attorney and so I know! She took on my case and filed for a conservatorship over my father's estate (and took on all of my problems) when no one else would. She worked so hard and the conservatorship was granted, even though ...my father tried to contest at first. She helped me handle an extremely stressful situation. All at an extremely fair price. I know she works many more hours than she bills. She rarely charged me for phone calls because she said she didn't want to discourage communication. Sarah solves problems, she doesn't just win cases.

I am a single mom of two and was looking to create a basic trust and estate plan to protect my children in the event something were to happen to me. I was not looking to spend a lot of time or money doing it. Sarah was clear from the beginning as to her billing rate and how much time she felt it wo...uld take to complete the work. Her initial estimate was right in line with her final billing. At our first meeting, we discussed my vision for how I wanted things set up. She created a flow chart to make it easy to understand and visualize the assets and how they would be handled, she raised some things I had not thought of, and we discussed changes. From our first meeting to the date of signing was under two months. During that time Sarah kept me apprised of what she was working on, how much time she had spent, and we communicated by email regarding questions that came up along the way. I found her to be very fair and very clear and concise with her questions and the explanations that she provided in response to my questions. At the signing meeting, everything was prepared with a notary present so that everything could be signed simply and easily. I walked away with a very organized binder with all the information anyone could need in the event that anything were to happen to me. I also received a digital copy. If you are looking for estate planning, I would say that Sarah Olney provides excellent service, reasonable rates, and as a mother herself she has a particular sensitivity to this topic of estate planning and cares very much about her work.
