Michael Roofian

With a career spanning three decades, Michael Roofian blends unique technical skills and legal advocacy to serve clients in personal injury, auto and industrial-accident claims, and fraud and breach-of-contract cases. Since founding the Los Angeles and San Diego offices of Michael Roofian and Associates, APC in 1991, he has concentrated on securing recoveries and protecting clients’ rights. His early career was in computer engineering—studying at the University of California and earning a master’s in computer architecture at USC—then working six years at the Los Angeles Scientific Center on complex surface modeling and CAD/CAM while tutoring college physics and calculus. Transitioning to law, he completed clerkships (including with Hon. Edward Rafeedie) and handled banking, corporate and government infrastructure contracts before focusing on personal injury. He has significant experience assisting disabled individuals, veterans, and homeless youth, volunteers with local children’s charities, and remains engaged with scientific topics through his blog.
