Ian Philip Samson

Ian is the attorney for the quintessential "little guy." An attorney truly for the people. I was initially reluctant about hiring a large law firm to represent me in my case. All of the negativity you hear about large firms—not being regularly updated, not hearing from your lawyer, being handed off ...to paralegals—was debunked after my experience with Ian. When I hired Ian, I expected to regularly hear from him, not his paralegals, and that is precisely what I got. Ian is selfless. He fights for what is fair and just. He will protect you; especially when the defense team of lawyers tries to personally attack you. The defense attorneys did what they could to intimidate me so I would drop my case and it almost worked. They attacked my credibility, pried into my personal life, and accused me of lying, being a fake, and a fraud. Ian was relentless in heading off the defense attacks and sticking up for me. As part of a lawsuit I thought every part of my life was subject to examination by the defense lawyers. Not true. Ian pushed back and had the legal intellect to back it up. It was such a sight to see. A big corporate lawyer giving up ground to the “little guy's” attorney. Think of Ian as the big brother you call when the bully steals your lunch at recess. This sums up Ian and what he stands for. In the face of adversity—here a giant corporation—he did not back down. He stayed the course and believed in me. Every time I spoke with Ian or met with him, I felt confident, secured, and most importantly, that he had my back. I cannot write enough great things about Ian and express how much I really appreciate him as a human being and as my attorney.
