Extremely knowledgeable, professional and I highly, highly recommend Mr. Lurie and his team. I had an URGENT legal matter pertaining to a Real Estate transaction in which I was a buyer. On the day of our Closing, the Seller threatened to pull out of the Sale (just hours before the deadline to close)... if I (as the buyer) did not agree to sign a specific document releasing the Seller of any Liability, after the Seller was in Breach of Contract. I came to Mr. Lurie because someone defrauded me for an investment of $500,000. Barak was able to negotiate a quick settlement with a wonderful result. Not only did I get my money back but he really gave me the assurances that I needed through out the process. He was even able to recover back interes...t and a big chunk of our attorney fees! We had a very disappointing experience with this firm. My elderly mother sought their help after her business partner stopped sending her dividends, completely cutting her out of the business. During our initial consultation, Barack assured us that this was a straightforward case. We paid $25,000 ...upfront, expecting diligent representation, but after four months, nothing had been done—not even basic communication with the opposing attorney. When an update hearing took place, the firm failed to address the crucial issue of my mother not receiving payments. I trusted Barack, in part because he presented himself as a person of faith, but unfortunately, our trust was misplaced. This firm seemed more focused on collecting fees than actually advocating for my mother. Extremely disappointed in the lack of action and professionalism.
