I am a passionate advocate on behalf of my Employment Law clients. I have 28+ years experience and hold an AV-Preeeminent rating, the highest rating issued by Martindale-Hubbell. For several years, including 2020-21, I have been recognized as a SuperLawyer in Employment Law by Law & Politics Magazine.
I am an active member of the Santa Barbara County Bar Association, where I serve as the Labor & Employment Section Head. I regularly organize Continuing Legal Education (CLE) programs to educate lawyers in the community on employment law issues and developments. I also belong to the the William L. Gordon Inn of Court and I am an Associate Member of the Santa Barbara Contractors Association.
I volunteer in various local philanthropic organizations, including VNA Health (formerly, Visiting Nurse & Hospice Care), where I serve on the Board of Trustees, Ethics and Audit Committees, as well as on the Animal Welfare Committee of the Santa Barbara Zoo. I formerly served on the Board of Trustees of Child Abuse Listening and Mediation (CALM).
When not practicing employment law, I play tennis in the Montecito Mafia and as a member the Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club. I am also passionate about music (I play drums and piano), cooking and chess. I enjoy spending time with my family and pets and following my daughter's accomplishments as a rising hunter jumper equestrian.
