Let me start off by saying that Jonathan is an INCREDIBLE lawyer. He really does his due diligence in helping and staying on top of your case. Quiet, highly intelligent, and very organized are a few key attributes he has.
So, I hired another lawyer in the beginning of my case but I wasn’t happy wi...th his work so I decided to fire him. I went ahead and hired Jonathan and team. The whole process is very traumatic so it is very wise to hire someone who is understanding and knows what they are doing. He answered my questions whether it be by email or telephone. Get this, he would answer my questions with specific information like dates or names quickly off the top of his head. I don’t know about you but that is unreal in my eyes. Just shows how involved he is with case. Maybe because my memory was faulty, I felt I was in great hands.
His patience towards me spoke volumes of how he can handle his “cool” under pressure considering I am not the easiest person to work with. I admit it. He did very well, I am very impressed. I want to add that I care for what he does that I once stopped going to a therapist I was seeing (private insurance during case) because she had bad mouthed what lawyers do (negatively, in her mind). Not all lawyers are bad, there a few good ones out there just like Jonathan. I vouch for him 100%
The convenience and services his office offers are (the following may change as I was a client who wanted to know EVERYTHING about my case):
-some doctor appointments were set in office with follow up reminders sent via mail/USPS.
-letters with filing dates were mailed with copies
-anything submitted on my behalf was always confirmed with letters in the mail for my records.
-readily available for meetings whether it is in person or by phone.
-he took the time to listen about how my appointments went after each meeting. I liked this since everything was fresh in my mind and I would hope he can pick up a few things to help my case.
-work with private banks for emergency loans (paid against your settlement, if you qualify).
-after they took my case, I was referred to the “better” doctors in network. I wasn’t happy with most doctors I dealt with but you have to work with what you’ve got (no fault to my lawyers, I might add). Just remember, DOCTORs work for YOU.
-doctor offices were close to public transportation which is important if one doesn’t have a vehicle.
-on hearing days, Jonathan arrived early and fully prepared. Very important!
This has been an arduous journey navigating the Workers' Comp world however I am glad to have had Jonathan and team behind me to hold my hand and work through this together. I also recommend for those entering WC to get thorough reports from doctors, list and address your concerns with doctors, journal your doctor visits (include names of people who assisted you), keep an updated calendar, keep call logs, ask for copies of everything you sign, be completely honest, and trust your lawyer. It will be a tough road ahead but I can assure you there is a bright light at the end of the tunnel. I am grateful to have had Jonathan represent me, I feel forever indebted to him. Thank you, Jonathan!
