Jeff does Workers Compensation defense. Adjusters will assign straight forward cases to him to administer. But, he always finds a way to over bill on the files. It seems that he takes twice as many depos as other attorney and the depos last twice as long. He presses for authorization to subpoena m...ore records than other lawyers on similar files. He does "independent" internet research on the injured workers. It seems that all the injured workers assigned to Jeff's files are liars, cheats, and reprobates. Jeff then uses these ad hominum to overwork the files. He loses his temper, thus generating "bad blood" with the injured worker and their lawyer. Although he makes token attempts to "settle" a case, his files take years to close and drag on and hon and on. In April 2021, Jeff went on vacation. This was relief to the adjusters because they didn't have to deal with him during this time. The relief was shortlived. Jeff returned. And so did the misery.
