Liner was my state Appointed attorney out of Monterey County California. I was originally Represented by just a normal public defender but When a conflict of interest Had occurred that’s when Steve Lana was appointed to me by the State of California. I was ready to sign a five year bid in a state pen...itentiary Just so I can hurry up and start my time mind you This would have not been the first time going to the state penitentiary.Liner look at me and said If you can just hold it off for two more weeks in the county jail I could have always dismissed he gave me a 97% chance I look at and said yeah right I can’t do that I’m ready to go up state . That’s when he reply sorry son but as your legal counsel I cannot let you play guilty to something or take this time when legally he knowsI wasn’t guilty and I can beat it. So he walks over to The judge and the district attorney and then back to me and says here you’re going home today but you have to come back to Come back here in two weeks if the district attorney cannot back up is evidence every single one of them 13 charges will be dropped.Unheardof pictures of me red-handed so it seem to be. Two weeks later back in the courtroom 45 minutes takes to say people State of California versus me Count one dismiss count two dismissed …,.And so forth I must’ve shook his hand I Offered to buy him lunch He laughed and said don’t worry about a guy go home and Take care of your family. So if you’re looking for a good lawyer liner is your guy You just have to be straight up with him .He can’t go to bat For you if he doesn’t know what kind of pitches that are going to be thrown !!!!!!
