Biography
J. Jordan Oslin is an exceptional litigator with nearly a decade of experience representing and counseling both employers and employees in a wide variety of labor and employment matters. Mr. Oslin consistently handles multi-party and single-plaintiff litigation arising under Title VII, Section 1981, the FLSA, California Government Code 12940 et seq., and a range of other statutory and common law theories. Mr. Oslin has experience dealing with the federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing. Mr. Oslin regularly counsels clients on a variety of employment practices, including severance agreements, personnel policies and procedures, and employee hiring, discipline, and termination.
Mr. Oslin also has experience in commercial litigation and intellectual property consultation including breaches of contract, breaches of fiduciary duty, the negotiation and interpretation of licensing agreements, talent services agreements, option purchase agreements, and rights acquisition agreements. Mr. Oslin also has extensive experience in management of corporate operations and filings, including the supervision of transactional compliance and human resources.
Mr. Oslin spent many years representing Plaintiffs in the employment law space in California while also fostering a robust, employer-focused consultation department which encapsulated all aspects of employer-focused employment law as well as commercial and IP-based issues.
Mr. Oslin received a Bachelor of Arts from Loyola Marymount University and a Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School, both in Los Angeles. Mr. Oslin is admitted to practice law in the State of California as well as the United States District Court for the Northern, Eastern, and Central Districts of California. He is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the San Fernando Valley Bar Association.
