Amanda Ruth Touchton

I've known Amanda for over 4 years. Having worked with dozens of attorneys, in multiple areas of law (and for various purposes) over the years, I have a good sense of what makes an lawyer good at their job. Amanda is knowledgeable, detail oriented and amazingly talented. I have also found her t...o be very personable. She is reassuring, but brings the straight talk, which is certainly needed when facing criminal charges. There is no one I would rather have representing me. For well over a year, I had been fighting a charge that would be detrimental to my professional license if a conviction occurred. I received an Accusation against my RN license from the BRN due to a second DUI. I knew that I needed a lawyer to help sort out the legal aspects of my case to hopefully keep my license. I researched online, but I was personally referred to Ms. Touchton. Ms. Touchton is a criminal defense attorney... and did not know if she would take my case. We spoke over the phone and it turns out that she has had plenty of experience with professional licensing, and accepted my case. After meeting with me, she asked me to gather information for my case. Ms. Touchton quickly developed a plan and presented it to the BRN. She kept in touch with me via phone and email. She returned my phone calls and emails appropriately. Not only was she professional, but she was very personable and empathetic to my case. This was, and still is a tough time in my life. Even though I felt defeated, she kept me grounded and helped me focus on keeping my license, since I had worked so hard to achieve it. I could not have asked for a better lawyer for my case.
