I represent debtors in Chapter 7 Bankruptcies. From the initial consultation to the Ch. 7 discharge. Replied last November 12, 2023Mr. Lauria as lead counsel and I as co-counsel were ready to try this case on 11/9/23. After the judge denied my Motion for Judgement on the Pleadings, there was apparently no other option other than to try this case. We were ready, and super prepared. During the litigation of this case a very reasonable amount for relocation assistance to move out was offered and rejected by our client. I made an offer to the Plaintiff's attorney on 11/9/23 for my client to move out for a very highly substantial amount on relocation assistance that it was rejected. Suddenly, before going on the record, for the first time an offer by the Landlord's attorney was made to pay and stay and the dispute was resolved on the brink of starting the trial. Mr. Lauria and I are very happy to obtain the outcome that our clients wanted. We are extremely happy to keep another family housed in the City of Los Angeles, once again. Victory and justice for this family was very rewarding, and most importantly our ability to provide this family of mixed immigrants with the access to justice they deserved.
