Alison Graubard Turner

Alison G. Turner is a partner at McCathern, and is based out of the Firm’s Los Angeles office. Alison focuses much of her practice in insurance defense.  Her primary area is construction defect law, general construction law, professional liability, premises liability and general litigation matters. 

Alison has been lead counsel representing institutional, public entity, general contractor, and subcontractor clients in 100s of cases which have lead to many advantageous settlements.  She has been successful in settling many cases early and favorably for her clients.

Born and raised in New York, Alison attended Boston College as an undergraduate graduating with honors.  She moved to Los Angeles to attend Southwestern University School of Law.

Alison is admitted to practice in California.  She also is affiliated with the Women’s Lawyers Association of Los Angeles and Association of Southern California Defense Counsel.   

Alison is a member of the Insurance Law Committee, a standing committee to the Business Law Section of the California State Bar.  Alison has been past Co-Chair of the Gala Committee and is a volunteer for the Downtown Women’s Center, where she has chaired several fundraising events.
