Biography
My current area of practice is primarily focused upon U.S. business immigration law, Prior to joining Tafapolsky & Smith, LLP, I was a senior associate at the Gotcher Law Group, another business-focused immigration firm located in Sherman Oaks, California. Before that, I was engaged in conducting comparative legal research and writing at the Kyoto Comparative Law Center (KCLC), a renowned academic legal research institute and think tank located in Kyoto, Japan where I simultaneously served on the editorial committee for the Matthew Bender publication, "Doing Business in Japan."
My prior background in immigration includes that of both business and family-related matters. I was also the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award in Immigration Law and the Academic Achievement Award in the Practice of Law.
