Thank you Ms. Kelly. You fought for me when no one else has before & you helped me stay out of jail, even though many believe that is where I belong, so that I could get the help I needed. Having a record with 20+ felonies (most of which I am guilty for) & spending most of my life in jails & institut...ions, it is not easy for me to receive any mercy from the courts, especially when it is my hundredth time asking for a 2nd chance. I thank you for looking past that shameful record of mine & for seeing me as real person who has made mistakes but deep down is not a bad person. You saw this & having empathy for my situation & compassion for my efforts in changing my life, you communicated this to the courts & worked me a miracle out of my mistakes.
