J Michael Hughes

Mr. Hughes was appointed by the court to serve as my attorney after five prior attorneys either declared a conflict or were fired by me. He listed to my positions on all relevant issues despite me not being the easiest person to deal with. His questions when I testified were well suited to extract th...e most favorable relevant information and his cross-examination of opposition witnesses left them cornered and left with no choice but to admit to facts that were favorable to my interests. He far exceeded my expectations given my experiences prior to his appointment. As to the poor review of Mr. Hughes, the area of law that he is practicing in is not exactly the most fair, and that leaves a lot of us feeling as though we've be done an injustice. However, I am confident that Mr. Hughes was most certainly not the reason why.

I wish there was something I could say, but when a lawyer cannot even have professional decency to return phone calls and is only worried about signatures without conversation/explanation, it violates their professional oath. Clients lives should not face devastation or undue stress due to a lawyer's... negligence! Seek counsel elsewhere!!!
