Cynthia Catherine Yuen

Ms Yuen was my Public Defender on a felony case. I was facing 3 years in prison and a "Strike". Ms Yuen negotiated formal probation and at the conclusion of my probation she petitioned the court to reduce my felony to a misdemeanor. My life was changed . I completed college, married and purchased... a home. My wife and I became licensed foster parents and eventually adopted 4 children. Had I gone to prison my life would have taken a completely different course. I'll always be grateful to Ms.Yuen. There are still dedicated, compassionate professionals in the Public Defender's office.

I've had the misfortune if having Cynthia Yuen assigned to me as my public defender. Every since then my case of "innocence" dispite the overwhelming evidence of my innocence, my case thus my life has spiraled out of control. I don't believe she's ever gone to trial for anyone. Her purpose seems t...o be meeting a "quota" and by coercing, lying and scaring her clients into a plea and a pathetic one at that. To say Ms Yuen is incompetent would be a grave understatement. Because of her actions and lack there of, I'm submitting a request to the State Bar Association that she be disbarred or suspended of practicing law. I urge anyone considering her as your attorney to go elsewhere.
