Medi-Cal Estate Recovery Claims

After my mom's death, the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) presented me with two Medi-Cal claims - one of each of my parents. In speaking with the Alvarez Firm, I was referred to Chris Young which did an amazing job in assisting me with the whole process of settling the claims. From start t...o finish, Chris always showed professionalism, kindness and understanding specially because I was going through the grieving process at the time and on top of that I was being asked by DHCS for payment on the claims. I would most definitely recommend Chris Young and the Alvarez firm to anyone that needs assistance.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
