Shelly McMillan was a very aggressive attorney towards me as a client, she uses profanity towards me a lot. She wasn’t forward about my case and didn’t inform me of my upcoming schedule until I seeked help but by that time I went online myself and got the information. I received an email stating if I... wanted to seek other representation I could, if I wasn’t happy and that she would prepare the substitution of attorney. I took her offer and found a potential attorney and now she refuses to give me my files or lien amount on my case, attorney fees. Even after agreeing she would in previous email exchanges. I thanked her and respectfully showed gratitude towards the work she had put on my case but she still would not send anything over. I would highly recommend looking else. the fact that my attorney emailed me and agreed to do her part she has now went back on her words. I have done everything and asked Mrs. McMillan to send what she said she would and she hasn’t. As my potential new attorney has as well, but she wants to hold my case and continue working on it. Although I have received some files after calling. I regret the choice I made. I am only speaking off my experience as an individual client. But I would not recommend her on your case as an attorney.
