Ramin Ray Younessi

Ramin R. Younessi is the founder and lead attorney of Younessi Law in Los Angeles. He came to the United States in 1985 after fleeing religious persecution in Iran and worked many jobs in the San Fernando Valley as a teenager. That experience gave him a lasting commitment to people who are treated unfairly. He opened his own practice the day he was sworn in as an attorney in 1994 and has represented clients in the Los Angeles area ever since. Today he leads a team of more than 100 members handling employment, wage and hour, workers’ compensation, personal injury, and mass tort cases. Mr. Younessi is a Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation by the State Bar of California and an experienced trial lawyer. He recently won a $22 million verdict against the U.S. government, which the Ninth Circuit affirmed. He is a longtime member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles and the California Employment Lawyers Association, and he serves on the Board of Governors of the Los Angeles Trial Lawyers’ Charities.
