For 32 years, I've represented entrepreneurs, business owners and companies of all sizes in a variety of employment, business litigation, corporate transactional work, and estate planning. When the economy ebbs and flows, I counsel individuals and companies on how to resrtructure or eliminate debt.
CORPORATE/TRANSACTION: I help during the start-up phase to incorporate and set best practices in place on corporate governance, labor and employee issues (hiring to firing, employee manuals and compliant policies, and by updating business owners and franchisees on changing requirements in Labor, ADA and other laws), during growth phases as shareholders negotiate agreements and expand stock offering rights, and then when owners prepare for retirement and turn over management and holdings to other shareholders or family members.
EMPLOYMENT LAW: We defend companies, executives, and management in all facets of employment law, ranging from compliance with state and federal statutes to internal investigations and administrative agency complaints through pre-litigation negotiations, trial and appeal.
ESTATE PLANNING: with over 23 years of designing comprehensive and efficient estate plans for individuals and couples, we've developed a Revocable Trust Package offered at a flat fee, so that the process is easy, understandable, and quick to establish. BANKRUPTCY: Whether you seek to eliminate or restructure your debt, the process can be confusing and intimidating. Worse yet, if you try to navigate the process on your own, you will likely find out that you won't meet requirements and deadlines on time, your assets might be taken, and a defective filing may be dismissed and you barred from refling. Having represented so many clients when they have family, business, income and debt concerns driving them crazy, I help to chart a path through debt elimination to financial recovery and stability.
SEMINARS, PRESENTATIONS AND TRAINING: My partner Azim Khanmohamed and I have traveled throughout Californina for our franchisee clients to present seminars of 45 minutes or more (see list of presenations below), and are available to me with you companies, managers and franchisees. Since March 2020, we continue to do so through video conferencing technology on both estate planning, Legislative Updates (FFCRA and CARES and PPP application procedures and qualifications).
