Harvey Lee Goldhammer

Harvey Goldhammer is the Senior Litigation Attorney at Insider Accident Lawyers. With more than four decades of courtroom experience, he is an accomplished trial and appellate attorney who has built a reputation for handling complex litigation and achieving successful outcomes for his clients.

Harvey graduated with honors from Clairmont McKenna College in 1973, earning a degree in Economics and Drama. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School in 1977 and has been trying cases since 1978.

Throughout his career, Harvey has tried more than 150 cases to resolution through jury verdicts, court verdicts, and arbitration awards. He has also argued more than 200 cases before the California Courts of Appeal and the California Supreme court.

Earlier in his career, Harvey represented insurance companies while working for the staff counsel offices of Chubb Insurance Company and The Hartford Insurance Company, as well as several insurance defense law firms. He later spent more than a decade in private practice, concentrating on appeals and serving as an 11th hour trial attorney for law firms that needed experienced courtroom counsel shortly before trial.

During that time, Harvey was retained by Rodney King’s legal team to prepare Mr. King for his testimony during the trial of the officers who assaulted him.

Harvey has handled a broad range of cases, from routine automobile accident claims to complex multi-million-dollar litigation. His experience included product liability, wrongful death, public entity liability, insurance bad faith, commercial litigation, general liability, and professional malpractice involving accountants, attorneys, and dentists.

Known as a highly skilled negotiator during his time at The Hartford Insurance Company, Harvey was frequently entrusted with resolving particularly challenging cases. After leaving the company he spent 13 years working as a professional mediator and arbitrator before joining Insider Accident Lawyers as Senior Litigation Attorney.

Harvey finds great satisfaction in representing injured individuals. Today he brings decades of courtroom experience, negotiation skills, and appellate knowledge to every case he handles.
