Jordan Davis

Mr. Davis is an attorney at the Washoe County Public Defender’s Office.  Prior to serving in that capacity, Mr. Davis was a member of Fennemore Craig's Government Affairs Practice Group and an associate at Lionel Sawyer & Collins.  His practice focused on government relations, complex civil litigation and commercial litigation.  During law school, Mr. Davis mediated cases, worked in a civil litigation firm and externed for a well-respected criminal defense attorney in San Diego, California.  Mr. Davis also worked under current Nevada Governor, and then Federal Judge Brian E. Sandoval in the United States District Court, District of Nevada and served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable David Wiseman, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands Superior Court, Saipan, upon his graduation from law school and subsequently, for the Honorable Brent Adams, Second Judicial District Court of the State of Nevada.

In 2015, Mountain States Super Lawyers named Mr. Davis a "Rising Star" in the field of Government Relations, chosen as one of the top 2.5 percent of young attorneys in his jurisdiction. In 2014, Mountain States Super Lawyers named Mr. Davis a "Rising Star" in the field of Business Litigation. Mr. Davis has also been named to Nevada Business magazine's "Legal Elite" in 2013, 2014 and 2015 as one of Northern Nevada's top attorneys. In 2014, Mr. Davis was awarded the Reno Gazette-Journal's Twenty under 40 Award for his professional achievements, community involvement and exceptional leadership in the Greater Reno-Tahoe area.

Mr. Davis volunteers countless hours to legal aid and several community organizations in Northern Nevada, including work with veterans of our armed forces and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern Nevada. Aside from practicing law, Mr. Davis enjoys being a "Big," traveling and spending time with his family. In 2014, Mr. Davis was named "Big of the Year" by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern Nevada.
