Kelly S McIntosh

Kelly McIntosh advises established and emerging entities on general corporate, transactional, and regulatory matters. Her experience is strongly focused on assisting clients in regulated industries including health care, insurance, and finance. Ms. McIntosh approaches clients’ problems from a pragmatic perspective, providing clients with practical legal solutions that make sense in the context of day‐to‐day business operations and strategic objectives.

Ms. McIntosh advises businesses at all stages of the corporate lifecycle, from formational matters like entity selection, organizational document preparation and licensure, to the sale or purchase of equity interests.  She also guides companies through mergers and acquisitions, vendor and workforce contracting, business succession, and dissolution.

Ms. McIntosh graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, cum laude, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Political Science. While an undergraduate, Ms. McIntosh was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi honor society. Ms. McIntosh received her Juris Doctorate from the William S. Boyd School of Law in Las Vegas, Nevada. While in law school, Ms. McIntosh was the President of the Society of Advocates and participated in the ABA Moot Court Competition, earning a best brief award, and in the ABA Negotiation Competition. Ms. McIntosh was also an active member and officer in the Saltman Dispute Resolution Society and a member of the Health Law Association.

Ms. McIntosh has practiced law in Nevada since 2007.  Ms. McIntosh is a member of the State of Nevada Bar Association and she currently serves as Membership Chair of the  Insurance and Health Law Section, the American Bar Association (Health Law Section), Reno-Tahoe Young Professionals (Community Involvement Committee), the American Health Lawyers Association, the Health Care Compliance Association and the Washoe County Bar Association. Ms. McIntosh is trained as a mediator with the Clark County Neighborhood Justice Center.

Ms. McIntosh has lived in Nevada for most of her life and prior to law school worked as an appraisal technician for the Douglas County Assessor’s Office. Ms. McIntosh is a resident of Reno, Nevada.
