After 50 years of ALWAYS paying my bills and paying on time, I was forced by circumstances to file for bankruptcy. I was devastated and cried all the way to Mr. Patteson's office and during our initial interview. Mr. Patterson was extremely kind and understanding, thoughtful and supportive. He even ...offered me tissues to wipe my eyes and put his arm around my shoulders. He listened and then explained my options carefully, thoroughly, and very gently. And although he would need to re-explain the necessary procedures again, as it was hard to retain through the tears, he did explain the process.
