Ms. Rezac is a shareholder in the firm’s Employment Law and Litigation Departments. She focuses her efforts on all types of employment litigation matters including discrimination claims under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA) and the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), in addition to retaliation claims, wrongful discharge claims, Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) claims, breach of contract claims, and claims involving workplace torts. Ms. Rezac also acts as an advisor to companies regarding various employment matters, including formulating employment policies and drafting employee handbooks, and regularly presents workplace seminars for employees regarding federal and state employment law.
Before joining the firm, Ms. Rezac was a shareholder for several years at the Nevada law firm of Jones Vargas, practicing employment law.
Ms. Rezac teaches several Extended Studies program classes on employment law at the University of Nevada, Reno. She also speaks at seminars related to employment law issues such as hiring and firing, wage and hour issues, discrimination, and conducting workplace investigations.
