Immigration matters can be complex with little or no margin for error. The Law Office of Cristina M. Hughes is dedicated exclusively to immigration law matters.
Two generations ago, Attorney Hughes’ grandparents immigrated to the US from Italy. This, combined with her extensive international travels and studies is what attracted her to Immigration law. Attorney Hughes began practicing immigration law in July 2010. She is a member of the California State Bar, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, and the American Bar Association. Attorney Hughes is a native English speaker and can fluently speak, read, and write in Spanish.
Attorney Cristina Hughes completed her undergraduate degree at Clemson University in South Carolina, with a major in Spanish and International Trade. During her undergraduate studies, Attorney Hughes participated in a 6 week cultural exchange in Oaxaca, Mexico and also studied abroad in Spain, where she lived for 9 months.
Attorney Hughes is a 2008 graduate of the Florida State University College of Law in Tallahassee Florida. During law school, Attorney Hughes participated in Jessup Moot Court and was a member of the Women’s Law Symposium. At the same time Attorney Hughes received her Juris Doctorate (JD), she also completed the Florida State University College of Business MBA program. Upon graduation from law school, Attorney Hughes travelled throughout Australia and South East Asia in order to expand her knowledge and appreciation of other countries and their people.
