I consulted with Meghan after my auto accident. My car had $9500 damage and was nearly totaled after being rear-ended in a parking lot. Meghan encouraged me to take the first offer the insurance would give, she said they may offer me $1k right off the bat. She acted like it was just my body, no big deal. She declined to take my case (thank God!) but said I could call her if I had any questions. I did call her, I wanted to see how far she would go to try to convince me that my experience, my injuries, and my body, weren't worth treating. When the insurance gave me their low-ball offer of $1700, I called her and she acted like I should jump on it and I was lucky to get that! I ended up going with another attorney who helped me get treatment for my injuries, a thorough and beautiful repair on my vehicle, and a settlement worth thousands more than Meghan thought I should settle for.
