Joshua A. Kunis

Joshua Kunis is an associate attorney with Maier Gutierrez & Associates. Joshua is a civil litigation attorney whose practice has primarily involved tort lawsuits for both plaintiffs and defendants. Joshua practices in the areas of premises liability lawsuits, construction defects, negligent security cases, motor vehicle accidents, product liability lawsuits, complex and traumatic injuries, wrongful death cases and matters involving punitive damages.

Previously, Joshua was the attorney for the State Division of Insurance responsible for overseeing the Medical Legal Screening Panel. He also has extensive arbitration and mediation experience.

Joshua was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He attended Hofstra University where he first earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. He continued at Hofstra and later received an MBA in Finance.

After graduation, Joshua worked in the New York City corporate arena for a number of years as a marketing and finance executive for such companies as AT&T, NYNEX and the NYC Transit Authority. Following a stint as Executive Vice President for a real estate investment and management company, J.S. Karlton Company, Joshua entered law school at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Yeshiva University, where he was a Jacob Burns Scholar and earned his law degree in 1995.

Immediately upon graduating from law school, Joshua relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada, where he has practiced law exclusively. Joshua is married to his wife, Carol, and in their spare time they love to travel, go to movies, root for the NY Giants, cook and then of course, feast.
