John T. Keating

John T. Keating is a seasoned insurance defense attorney and a private mediator/arbitrator based in Nevada. After earning his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from UNLV, John went on to earn a Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law where he was involved in the Moot Court Board and earned the distinction of Outstanding Oralist in 1996. In 1997 he passed the Nevada Bar and began an illustrious legal career that has spanned over 25 years. John has worked as law clerk at the 8th Judicial District Court, an associate attorney at Eglet & Prince, LLP, a partner in the highly successful Prince & Keating law firm and since 2014, has been managing partner and owner of Keating Law Group. Throughout his career, John has provided legal counsel to clients such as Allstate Insurance Company, Progressive Insurance Company, ANPAC, United Fire, Kemper Insurance, Key Insurance, Basica Insurance, Starr Insurance as well as work for Caesar's Hotel & Casino, Rio Hotel, and Lucky Cab. He is well respected as a litigator and has been able to broker many successful settlements as a mediator, as well as handing down arbitration awards that both Plaintiff and Defendant viewed as fair and reasonable. He is an active member of the American Bar Association, Nevada Trial Lawyers Association, and Clark County Bar Association, showcasing his commitment to the legal fraternity.
