Shawn L. Walkenshaw

Shawn is a founding member of SJW Injury Attorneys, alongside Esteban Sandoval and Benedict James. Shawn's career initially revolved around intricate commercial litigation, where he adeptly handled multifaceted business disputes. However, a personal injury case marked a turning point for Shawn's trajectory. The experience ignited his passion for advocating on behalf of individuals harmed by negligence. Since then, his practice has been devoted to delivering top-tier representation to those affected by injury.

Shawn earned his Juris Doctor from the William S. Boyd School of Law, meriting several scholarships. While studying, he honed his skills as a judicial extern for the Honorable Mike K. Nakagawa of the United States Bankruptcy Court, District of Nevada.

Before embarking on his legal journey, Shawn pursued a diverse education at the University of Nevada, Reno, culminating in a Bachelor of Science in Economics, a Bachelor of Science in Finance, and a minor in Mathematics. He also amassed significant experience in the finance industry prior to entering law school.
