R. Christopher Reade

        Founded upon the principles that the legal profession is a service and not a uniform product, the firm of Reade & Associates has years of experience in complex litigation, representing and serving prominent local and national clients, institutions and individuals.  Reade & Associates was founded on and remains committed to the principles of providing our clients with the personal attention, professional resources and practical perspectives necessary to find innovative and effective solutions to their legal, corporate and personal needs, the insight not merely to solve problems but the foresight to avoid them.  The firm bases its philosophy of problem prevention, then problem solving and finally litigation and resolution in protecting and prosecuting our client's interests.

            Reade & Associates engages in all major litigation, corporate and commercial practice areas, with an emphasis in construction and commercial development transactions and litigation, professional liability, insurance and mass tort litigation, public utilities, as well as corporate and commercial representation and transactions.  The firm provides a full range of legal services for our clients, which include commercial and residential developers, builders and contractors, public utilities, real estate brokerages, insurers, manufacturers, design professionals, businesses and individuals.  We have represented clients in transactions from the smallest residential sale to offers on major properties.  In these areas, the firm has distinguished itself through immediate attention and service to client needs, building lasting relationships between clients and principals.  The members of the firm have been involved in complex litigation in Nevada.  Our goal is not merely to work tirelessly for our clients but to work tirelessly with our clients to meet their legal needs.

            R. Christopher Reade, the firm's founding member, has brought a wealth of experience and diversity of clients to the firm.  Mr. Reade graduated Phi Beta Kappa and with High Distinction from the University of Nebraska Honors Program, receiving his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Philosophy in 1993.   He then attended University of Nebraska College of Law, receiving his Juris Doctorate with Distinction in 1996.  Mr. Reade is admitted to practice before the State and Federal Bars of Nevada, Arizona, Colorado and Nebraska, as well as being admitted to practice before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and United States Supreme Court.  

            Reade & Associates is committed to building lasting relationships through service to the community.  Mr. Reade was recognized in 2011 as the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada Attorney of the Decade.  He was a partner in the 2002 Small Law Firm of the Year and 2003 State of Nevada Access to Justice Small Firm of the Year, has been awarded the 2003 Exemplary Pro Bono Service Award, 2004 Lied Award for most cases by an attorney and 2005 Louis Wiener Pro Bono Service Award for service to domestic violence victims.  Mr. Reade is the Chair of the State Bar of Nevada Lawyer Referral and Information Service Board, a Member/Arbitrator of the State Bar of Nevada Fee Dispute Committee as well as providing services for the Clark County Children's Attorneys Project and the Pro Bono Recruitment Committee.
