Having never hired a lawyer before...I had only heard about astronomical prices, tough scheduling, and being billed for every word we spoke or wrote. Prior to any money exchange, Matthew Piccolo spent a couple hours on the phone with me during my consultation time; combing through all parts of my c...ase and answering questions I didn’t know I would have. I asked why I should hire him and what his background was, and his thoughts on me fighting my case alone. But for what I was up against- I found it completely worthy of the cost. I was grateful for the flat fee, and while it made me initially apprehensive about the time I’d spend with him...he was very responsive anytime I reached out and did a great job at coaching myself and the witnesses we brought in. I highly recommend hiring Matthew Piccolo, especially if you’re fighting an unemployment case.

Mr. Piccolo was supportive and professional. He answered questions in a timely fashion, and addressed issues or concerns I had to help understand the dynamics of our case and how best to proceed. He would fill me in and advise me when needed. Communication was amazing. He was honest and empatheti...c to my situation. This went a long way. He had my back. He explained the law and let me know what my responsibilities were. He also encouraged me not to loses hope when the chips were down. I can't say enough good things about him. He is a brilliant and kind man who cares about the rights of the "little person."

Mr. Piccolo was most helpful in my case starting with the fact that he was willing to review all data and materials without an initial exorbitant consultation fee. Upon review he was able to calculate and pull out larger numbers than I had expected and provide viable explanations as to what was owed ...to me. I appreciated his communications along the way, keeping me in the loop and allowing me to know that he was diligently working on my case rather than pushing it aside. He provided valuable insight and options giving me his professional opinion, yet allowing me to make decisions along the way. We were able to settle out of court and he did a phenomenal job in completing all final details with deadlines so as not to drag out the solutions into an indefinite period of time. I would certainly recommend Mr. Piccolo as he has a strong work ethic and has proved to be an excellent communicator and advocate for his clients.
